Physician burnout symptoms affect 30-68% of physicians overall, highest of any professional group. Physicians can take charge of their own wellbeing. They need prompting and education to improve job satisfaction. Physicians are vulnerable to burn out, job dissatisfaction, and professional anxiety. It is imperative to identify strategies physicians can employ to rediscover the joy of medicine.
