Network Meta-analysis in Lung Cancer: Applications and Opportunities

Duarte, CA US
November 19, 2020

Understanding and applying network meta-analysis (NMA) in lung cancer is imperative in this day in age. Many interventions in lung cancers are not directly compared. Technique of NMA can help practitioners with comparison of treatment options, and in turn, determine best treatment for their patients, however, relative novelty, and lack of technical know-how or statistical expertise represent a major barrier to derive these inferences. This activity will help bridge this gap.

Target Audience

Practicing physicians and trainees.

Learning Objectives

  • Assess the basic concepts of network meta-analysis (NMA).
  • Discuss examples of NMA in lung cancer.
  • Identify potential areas for the application of NMA in lung cancer.
